Happy Sunday my lovelies! Hope you guys had a great week! This week has really been a blessing! Nothing spectacular has really happened but even the littlest things have been bringing me joy! I dunno why but I’ve just been really happy this week 💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽 Anyhoo let’s get into today’s blog post!
So your girl graduated just over a month ago, and I’m still fully gassed over it! It was deffo my biggest achievement till date and I’m just so proud of myself! So due to the fact that I’m pretty sure that this was gonna be my last graduation cos I really don’t see myself doing a PhD or another masters – even though my Dad begs to differ, but hey never say never – I really wanted to go out with a bang!
My graduation outfit was something that I’ve been thinking about probably since the start of my degree Lmaoo come and see serious student 😂😂 I deffo wanted to wear a suit from the get go, but wasn’t too sure on the colour. It was initially meant to be a baby pink suit and I was meant to treat myself to a pair of the pink Sophia Webster Evangeline heels looool but did I have Sophia Webster money???? Lmaooo So that plan went straight out of the window! So then I thought “Pink is cute and everything but you’re about to be a graduate sis, let’s be grown!!” And what screams grown like a white double breasted suit?
So now the challenge was to find an affordable white double breasted suit. During the summer Zara sales, I was just scrolling through to see what they had. I swear, it was just like a scene from a movie, when the boy sets his eyes on the girl of his dreams for the first time and immediately falls in love. But instead it was with me and the blazer loool. It was so dreamy, I just had to get it! The only sad thing was that it didn’t come with matching trousers! But what’s a love story without a couple of twists and turns! So now I’m moving like Prince Charming, trying to find the perfect trousers, that’s the perfect shade of white to match my blazer. If only I knew the stress I was about to embark on! I never knew that white came in so many shades! Eventually I came across a pair of trousers from H and M, and I was so convinced this was gonna be the perfect match! Lool was I wrong! But at this point, it was like a week to my graduation and I had to make do with what I had! The trousers were more cream than white, so I decided to bleach it slightly, and was able to achieve a colour pretty close to the blazer! Ohh Happy Days!
Accessories
So I wanted to stick with the all-white look, through and through! I mean, if you’re gonna do all white, you might as well do it right, right? So let’s talk about my shoes, real quick! No they’re not Christian Louboutins but don’t worry we’ll get there one day! Best believe that I got these shoes for a smashing £11 from Missguided, yes you heard right, £11, best £11 that I’ve spent in my entire life! So to add that extra spice, I carried a creamy white clutch bag that I got from ASOS. It’s not in any of the pics cos I barely carried it but it’s still part of the look so I had to mention it! For my earrings I decided to go for pearls, cos I’m a classy girl like that! I got these earrings from Missguided! I wore my gold necklaces from ASOS to add that extra touch of expensive, even though they were not!
House of Dérin
If you’re wearing a suit, you should know that your look is not complete without a statement piece lapel pin. I rocked this pearl and gold lapel pin from House of Dérin which took my look from “She came to slay to she came to SLAY slay” Lmaoo House of Dérin is a clothing line founded by my big brother that specialises in the finishing touches and accessories of a look! Hair
Last but not least, we’ve got my hair. I’ve been getting so many compliments on this hair and a lot of people have already purchased it due to my recommendation. I absolutely love this hair, it is very affordable and also really good quality. You don’t really need to do much to tame it, just some water will do. If you’re interested in the hair, here’s a link to the exact hair I purchased!

“My graduation outfit was something that I’ve been thinking about probably since the start of my Degree” that is so funny 😂😂
You diffently went for a timeless look. Years to come your graduation picture will be timeless which I love and agree with. I am not a fan of white stilletoes, but honey you pulled it of.
