Guess who’s back? Back again? Ore’s back! Tell a friend! 💃🏽💃🏽 After a week on hiatus – as Wendy Williams would say – your girl is back and better. Oh does it feel good to be back! I hope y’all missed me!

So as some of you may know, I’m currently in my pre reg year, meaning I work full time and also study full time! And I’m sure you can imagine how stressful it is for me to juggle it all whilst also blogging weekly. So I’m thinking of trying something new, and changing my blog posts to every other week. This is just gonna be a temporary change, till I’m done with my pre reg year at least. And if my creative juices are flowing a bit more than usual, then I may post more than twice a month but for now, I can assure you that there will be 2 posts every month! Now that we’ve gotten that out the way, let’s crack on with today’s post! 💃🏽

Is it just me or did we skip autumn all together and just went straight to winter? I really wasn’t expecting the drastic change in the weather at all! But luckily for me, the summer baby that I am does not play with winter. I’ve already stocked up on my turtlenecks, sweaters, jumpers. If you haven’t already then this post is for you! I’ve really been loving the knitwear co-ord trend this season and I just had to jump on the bandwagon. The versatility, warmth and sophistication the co-ord set brings is one you shouldn’t miss out on. Therefore, I bring to you 3 reasons why you need a knitwear co-ord in your wardrobe this autumn/winter! Leggo!

Versatility!

With the knitwear coord set, you have a jumper and a skirt that can be worn together or separately, giving you a minimum of 3 different looks. The jumper and be worn with black jeans, black boots and a leather jacket/aviator jacket to give you a biker girl vibe. The skirt can be worn with a cropped top, a denim jacket and a pair of trainers to give that cool kid vibe. The list is endless! Like I said above, I’m not playing with winter this year and I will do anything to keep myself warm. I often find that trying to stay stylish in winter can be a struggle as you sometimes have to compromise your style for warmth or vice versa. The co-ord set ticks not one, but two of those boxes. You get to stay warm while also looking like a dime! Now, what’s not to like about that? The best way I can describe the warmth of a knitwear co-ord set, is like getting a big hug from a giant teddy bear! Obviously getting a good quality knitwear co-ord set is vital if you’re trying to achieve a good level of warmth! Your co-ord set should have a good percentage of polyester in it to get the authentic sweater feel. Just throw on a nice coat and you have yourself a stylish yet warm outfit!

Statement Piece!

The knitwear co-ord set in itself is a statement piece. Meaning that you won’t need to add much to the look to create a statement and stand out! In fact, less is more! In this look I kept the jewellery to a minimum, and my accessories (hat, heels and purse) monochrome and simple, adding enough sophistication to the look but keeping the co-ord set the focus of attention. By wearing a knitwear co-ord set, you are bound to get noticed in the crowd because it’s different and not something you’d see often. And if you love attention like me, get yourself of knitwear co-ord set, trust me you won’t regret it!
